Questions and Answers about United We Build

What is the United We Build (UWB) campaign?

The objective of the UWB Campaign is to raise money for our new facility, by way of sacrificial giving.

What am I being asked to do?

David Chapel needs your support in order to make this campaign a success. We are asking for your participation in this campaign by financially supporting the efforts to raise money for our new facility. In your decision-making process, we ask that you prayerfully seek God. Be sure to add God to the equation and allow Him to lead you in determining your pledge.

When are we to begin paying the amount we have committed?

We want to begin paying the amount we have committed on Victory Sunday, but if that is not workable, for you, begin as soon as possible.

Is my commitment inclusive of my tithes?

No. Your pledge to the United We Build campaign will be over and above what you tithe. This is in no way designed to detract from your standard tithing.

Can we change our commitments once the cards are turned in?

Yes. Life brings change. If you believe that you can increase your pledge later, feel free to do so. On the other hand, if something happens in life that prohibits your ability to maintain your commitment at that level, you can alter your pledge. If you change your commitment in any way, please inform the church office.

Will our individual commitments really make a difference?

Most definitely! The only way we will reach our goals for this campaign is if each person participates. David Chapel, each member can make a difference. Together we can achieve great things. You play a vital role in this campaign. Please know that you are needed.

How often do we have to make payments towards our pledge?

You may decide your payment schedule. However, the objective is for you to have paid your pledge in full by the end of the three-year campaign.

Can we make a family commitment?

Yes. However, it is encouraged that if this is to be done, you have a full commitment from each member of the family. It is important that everyone is on board.

Whom do I contact for more information or if I have questions?

Please call the David Chapel office at (512) 472-9748. Your message will be passed on to the UWB committee, who will then contact you.
